UN AWARD

 
KDA Award
 
 
To obtain 1rd degree award applicants must fulfill the following conditions:

Kazakhstan hams must make QSOs
with 100 districts.
CIS hams must make QSOs with 60 districts.
DX hams must make QSOs with 40 districts.

Similar terms are applied to SWLs. 
 
To obtain 2rd degree award applicants must fulfill the following conditions:

Kazakhstan hams must make QSOs
with 60 districts.
CIS hams must make QSOs with 40 districts.
DX hams must make QSOs with 25 districts.

Similar terms are applied to SWLs.
 
To obtain 3rd degree award applicants must fulfill the following conditions:

Kazakhstan hams must make QSOs
with 35 districts.
CIS hams must make QSOs with 20 districts.
DX hams must make QSOs with 15 districts.

Similar terms are applied to SWLs.
KDA-1 AWARD
( Worked with districts of Kazakhstan) It is instituted by Kazakhstan Federation of Radio sport and Radio amateur (KFRR).


QSOs made after 01 01 1998 are valid

QSOs of any mode and on any ham radio bands including WARC are valid.
Duplicate QSOs can be made if the station operating from Kazakhstan is an expedition station and operates from different districts.

During a QSO, operators of Kazakhstan stations must transmit the number of the KDA district from where the station is currently operating. Kazakhstan hams can place their KDA numbers on QSLs, WEB addresses and other printed materials.

Applications must be made on a standard form and include all the relevant QSO data and KDA number. QSOs must be placed in an alphabetic order of KDA numeration. SWLs must in addition indicate the correspondent’s call sign.

The award has two options.

1.Paper version.

Hard copy (paper) applications made on the basis of log excerpts must be sent to the award manager. Please attach a copy of the payment receipt.

2. Electronic version

Electronic versions of all degrees can be awarded in the form of a file which will be sent to the email of the applicant in accordance with the KFRR Regulation on electronic awards.

Note:

1 After January 1, 2009 registration in the award program is cancelled.

2. Kazakhstan hams as well as foreign hams entitled to legally operate in Kazakhstan can organise expeditions to districts of Kazakhstan. They must obtain special call signs in compliance with the Regulations on operating amateur receive and transmit stations and Regulation on expeditions and activation of KDA districts.
3. QSOs made during KFRR contests in accordance with the KFRR Regulation on the rating table and QSOs valid for KDA may also be accepted.

4.QSOs with existing KDA districts at the time of making an application are valid.

5. The award committee has a right to request supporting documentation if the application contains questionable QSOs.

Terminology:

- KDA district is an administrative territorial unit in accordance with the Law on administrative territorial system of the Republic of Kazakhstan
- Activator station is an amateur radio station which is on an expedition across districts of Kazakhstan to activate specific districts.

"KAZAKHSTAN" Award

 
KAZAKHSTAN award is instituted by KFRR and awarded for two-way QSOs (SWL reports) with amateur stations of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It is the main award in the Kazakhstan series. QSOs must be made with all oblasts of Kazakhstan including Astana and Almaty cities. QSOs made after January 1, 2009 are valid.
To obtain the award 16 QSOs must be made: 14 QSOs with different oblasts of Kazakhstan, 1 QSO wth Almaty city and 1 QSO with the city of Astana. Only 1 QSO with every oblast and city will be valid. List of oblasts and capital cities.

QSOs made on different bands and different modes are valid.
Two options of the award exist. paper version electronic award Applications for the paper version are made on a standard form based on the extract of the log book.
Applications must have all the main data of the QSO, your postal address and sent to the award manager.
Your receipt of payment for the award must be attached to the application.
Cost of the award including postal expenses:
Kazakhstan hams 450 tenge
CIS hams 5 euros
All other hams 10 euros
The electronic version is awarded in accordance with the Regulation on Electronic KFRR awards.

 "MEDEO" Award
 
Diploma "Medeo" established the Almaty amateur radio League (ARL).
It is issued to all amateurs world with ham radio license, and SWL.
Diploma has three degrees and PLATE.
The need to conduct the following number of QSO with Almaty station UN#G...., UP#G..., UQ#G.....:
Diploma degree - needed 3 QSO,
Diploma 2 degree - must be 7 QSO,
Diploma 1 extent needed 15 QSO,
Plate (Trophy) - a 30 QSO.
 
Counted QSO at all ranges (including 230 megahertz) and any kinds of modulation. QSO with collective station ARL - UN0GL (contest call sign-UP0G) and a member of the second world war U7GL counted like 2 QSO, regardless of the range.
Diplomas of 3, 2 and 1 degree are issued electronically for free. The cost of plate-$ 30.
Application electronically is welcome. It (just like the receipt of tile) to: Almaty Amateur League, Almaty, str. Isaeva 131, 050026, Republic of Kazakhstan.

"UN DX Contest 2010" Award
 
Almaty of amateur radio league (ARL) together with leadership GSTK "Otan" Almaty has established the diploma for participants of UN DX Contest 2010 for a minimum 150 QSO during kontesta.
The diploma - send via QSL the Bureau.

QSOs made only on one (present) band are valid. Modulation kinds: Telegraph (cw), Phone (SSB, AM), Digital (Digital)

WAKZ Award

Diploma Worked All Kazakhstan (worked with all Kazakhstan) is founded by Almaty radio amateur league (ARL) together with sports-technical club "Otan" of Almaty.

The diploma has three classes. For diploma reception it is necessary:
- On 1 class - to spend QSO with radio stations of all of 14 areas of Republic Kazakhstan and 3 cities of republican value.
- on 2 class - to spend QSO with radio stations of 11 areas of Republic Kazakhstan and 2 cities of republican value.
- on 3 class - to spend QSO with radio stations of 7 areas of Republic Kazakhstan and 1 city of republican value.
Diplomas stand out on the basis of representation of originals of the QSL-cards confirming radio communications with radio fans of Kazakhstan, having radio amateur licences.
The diploma does not stand out to observers (SWL). QSO are set off since January, 1st, 2006 by any kinds of modulation and on any ranges, including WARC. The demand is made on the basis of an extract of magazine and assured by two radio fans.
Since 2010, all participants UN DX Contest who have executed conditions of the diploma and have given hardware magazine with QSO, in the judicial commission - receive diploma WAKZ (in the electronic version) without the official demand.
Diploma cost: For interested persons to receive the diploma in printing - an equivalent 1 Euro for radio fans of Kazakhstan, an equivalent 3 Euros or 3 IRC for radio fans from the CIS countries, 5 Euros or 5 IRC for all the others. The electronic version of the diploma is given free of charge.

The diploma "Worked with Kazakhstan stations" (W-KZ) is founded by Almaty radio amateur league (ARL) together with sports-technical club "Otan" of Almaty.
 
The diploma "Worked with Kazakhstan stations" (W-KZ) is founded by Almaty radio amateur league (ARL) together with sports-technical club "Otan" of Almaty.
The diploma in electronic form stands out to all licensed radio fans and radio observers is free. The diploma has set of levels, depending on quantity of the radio communications spent with radio fans of Kazakhstan:
-W-10-KZ with 10 radio fans of Kazakhstan, W-30-KZ with 30 radio fans of Kazakhstan, W-50-KZ with 50 radio fans of Kazakhstan, W-70-KZ with 70 radio fans of Kazakhstan, W-100-KZ with 100 radio fans of Kazakhstan, W-150-KZ with 150 radio fans of Kazakhstan, W-200-KZ with 200 radio fans of Kazakhstan, W-300-KZ with 300 radio fans of Kazakhstan etc.
The competitors who have typed enough of radio communications for performance of conditions of the diploma of level W-100-KZ and above in a current of year have the right to reception of a special plaquette. The communications spent after January, 1st, 2006 on all ranges are set off, including WARC, all kinds of modulation.
Communications through any kind repeaters (repeaters) are not set off.
The resolved kinds: CW, PHONE (SSB, AM, FM), digital forms and MIXED
Participants UN DX Contest since 2010 receive diploma W-KZ autooffset under a condition granting of hardware magazine with QSO, spent during time контеста in the judicial commission.
For all other radio fans the demand is made under the typical form with instructions of all specification: a call sign Kazakhstan stations, date, time, a kind of modulation and the official report.

"SINEGORE" Award
 
Diploma "SINEGORE” - is necessary in time of competitions on a radio communication (HFor VHF) to do not less than three (3) QSO with various members contest club group Sinegore (CGS) . Any modulation, any band. Only QSO after May, 22nd, 2010 and only for participation in competition on HF or VHF. The diploma is sent to the participants via e-mail adress in the electronic form (in format PDF or JPG).
